Front Porch Beads recently donated $1500 to Habitat for Humanity. Carol Bolton accepted the check on-site at their latest development on South Division Street in Fernandina Beach.

After this house is completed, Habitat will build four houses on South 10th. Of these, two will be two-story with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the other two will be single-level with two bedrooms and baths. This is the five  for 2025 initiative and then it is six for 2026. Families who fit the bill should start the application process now!

Habitat for Humanity works to help build and improve homes for families of low-income or disadvantaged backgrounds. Homes are built using volunteer labor, including that of Habitat homeowners. Habitat makes no profit from the sales.

Front Porch offers jewelry-making workshops which are free and open to all ages and skill levels. When the jewelry is sold, 100% is donated. For more information, visit www.frontporchbeads.com
