December 20, 2019, Starting Point:
Front Porch Bead volunteers take a break from gift wrapping upstairs at Story & Song to present a check for $1000 to Starting Point, an organization that provides behavioral health counseling and substance abuse treatment for Nassau County residents.
After the fun we had gift-wrapping upstairs at Story & Song in 2018, we were all looking forward to repeating the experience in the 2019 holiday season.
Alas, we didn’t get the same traffic this time around, but everyone made good use of the time to make some wonderful jewelry from kits. Many of these items have either been sold at Story & Song already or else you might find them on the web site or at Story & Song right now!
