Front Porch Beads took over the upper floor at Story & Song Bookstore Bistro for a “Trunk Show” for a few hours on September 18.
It was the first time we had arranged our jewelry for sale like that, and we learned a lot about display and what people were hoping to buy. (Lots more bracelets!)
The stream of people coming to browse and buy was slow but steady, and Donna Paz-Kaufmann (bookstore owner) reported jewelry sales of approximately $750 that day.
As we share our sales with Story & Song (and bearing in mind the pandemic's impact on sales everywhere), I was expecting to see a quarterly check for around $500. But no--apparently, people are still keen to buy what we are making! We picked up a check for $984 in early October!
