On July 7, we trekked off to Hilliard in two cars with all of our kids' beads and had a great time with about 25 adults and children. EVERYONE made bracelets and some of the kids even made pony bead necklaces too! The Hilliard Librarian is asking when we can come back!
A week later, we beaded with kids in the upstairs room at Story&Song Bookstore. Apparently, it was one of the best attended crafting events for children they've ever had, so they are keen for us to repeat that too.
And then, the day after, we hauled out to Bryceville. Although that session wasn't as well attended as the other two events, volunteers, kids, and parents/carers all seemed to have lots of fun.
And Susan, the librarian there, is hoping for another visit from us in the fall.
